Undergraduate Degree Program
The Baccalaureate Degree is normally the first academic degree awarded students in various fields of religious study, for the purpose of vocation, career, occupation, profession, ministry, educational, or life work. On the College level, a minimum of 120 semester credit hours of study or its equivalent is required. At S.T.C.U. a minimum thirty (30) credit hours must be in general education and a minimum of thirty (30) credit hours must be in Biblical Studies except for a degree in Biblical Studies which requires a minimum of sixty (60) credit hours in the Biblical Studies area.

Biblical Studies - 120 Credit hours needed
The division of Biblical Studies offers majors in Bible. Each of these majors is designed to equip an individual with a thorough knowledge of God's Word and various related subjects.

Pastoral Ministry Degree Program - 120 Credit hours needed
The Baccalaureate in Pastoral Ministry is designed for the individual who desires to enter into the area of the Pastorate. Along with the emphasis on Biblical instruction, the student will also be given instruction on the practical aspects of the ministry, such as, Church Administration, Special Ministries, Homiletics, and Pastoral Care and Counseling. The major will equip those planning to attend seminary or a preparation for youth ministry upon graduation. on the College level, a minimum of 120 semester credit hours of study or its equivalent is required. Thirty (30) credit hours must be in General Education and thirty (30) credit hours in Biblical Studies. This is the breakdown of the Core Curriculum for Pastoral Ministry.

The Baccalaureate in Christian Counseling requires 120 semesters' credit hours of study or its equivalent. A minimum of 42 semester credit hours must be in the Counseling Field. Thirty (30) credit hours must be in General Education and thirty (30) in Biblical Studies.
The Baccalaureate in Christian Counseling is designed for the student who wants to pursue an entry level career in the field of Christian Counseling.
